I have been researching into ethical issues around medical research using human biospecimens and associated information. Because biosamples or data include genetic information, which is sometimes referred to as “the ultimate personal information”, while they are valuable resources for biomedical research, we need to handle them with great care. It is sometimes difficult to distinguish between ethical and non-ethical in this diverse society since people think or become interested in things in a different way. I hope my research would make a contribution to the betterment of society.
