Fujika Ariarakawa
As an administrative consultant, I have been involved in research projects and ordinance enactment related to healthcare and education conducted by local governments. My previous work on a model bill for the handling of genome information outside the medical field led me to become interested in ELSI (Ethical, Legal, and Social) issues brought about by cutting-edge science. In the future, I would like to utilize my experience as an administrative consultant. With the qualitative research surveys I have developed in my field of social psychology, I would like to conduct research on ELSI issues in human embryos, human embryo models, and research pertaining to fetal tissue.
